If you have a passion for sport and adventure, then you shouldn’t miss the second meeting of the Garda Lake Raid in Nago-Torbole, which will take place on 1st and 2nd October 2011. It is an opportunity to do outdoor sports by combining passion for sport with respect for nature and the local territory. The raid is a multi-discipline competition open to everyone (both amateurs and professionals) in which the competing teams, comprising of 3 members, must learn to adapt to the surrounding area and finish as fastest as possible. The obligatory routes will require a complete sense of orienteering and will be tackled partly on mountain bikes and partly by trail running. There will also be a test in the waters of Lake Garda and a descent using ropes of a 60 meter wall: the varying experiences are designed to highlight the participants’ courage. The Alto Lake Garda area creates a fascinating picture frame for an event that aims to draw the participants’ attention to the beauty of the landscape and local culture through sporting activities. The competitors will need to put their courage, versatility, endurance and strategic abilities to the test. This competition forces team members to push themselves beyond their limits levering on their group spirit: everyone will have the chance to put themselves to the test, even those who only want to create their own team, without having any particular agonistic abilities, but simply wishing to savour the experience of an outdoor adventure. Victory will go to the most united, versatile and complete team, that will win a range of prizes donated by some of the most important companies in the sector.
