Christmas Market – Peschiera del Garda

December, full of events during the Christmas time in Peschiera del Garda: animation, markets, exhibitions, concerts and theater performances for children, these are the ingredients to soak up the atmosphere of Christmas 2011. Beautiful lights on the Canale di Mezzo, Christmas trees, Christmas music, games. The calendar is full – as always – of events for all ages. In the days 8th – 9th – 10th – 11th – 16th – 17th – 18th – 23rd – 24th – 26th December, 2011 the Christmas market will take place in Piazza Ferdinand of Savoy from 10.00 to 20.00, with a series of events:

December 8th at 10:00 – Musical Performance of Town Music Band

December 10th at 18.00 – Alpine Choir

December 16th at 18.00 – Alpine Choir

December 23rd at 18.30 – Musical Performance of Town Music Band

December 24th at 17.30 – Miniconcert of children

Also do not miss the Nativity of the Lake, from 1st December 2011 to 06th January 2012, observable from Ponte San Giovanni, depicting the Holy Family and all the characters who contemplate the Child Jesus. In the evening, the picture becomes more striking because the sacred figures are lit under water. You can admire the unique and unrepeatable underwater nativity scene: the “Nativity of the Lake.” Protected from light and glare, just at the point where the waters of Lake Garda converge to become the river Mincio, the crib is underwater.
